Our study reveals a high prevalence of hemorrhagic stroke, especially among men, diverging from global ischemic stroke trends. Irregular hypertension treatment is the primary cause, exacerbated by low healthcare knowledge in rural areas, where patients often discharge themselves due to socioeconomic reasons. Urgent public awareness campaigns and further research are needed to address this elevated hemorrhagic stroke incidence.
