Aortic elastic properties decreased in fetuses with TOF. Impaired ascending aortic elasticity biomechanics in the fetal period are associated with aortic annular dilation postnatally. Additional serial research is needed to evaluate the relationship between the aortic elastic injury pattern and aortic elastic degeneration under stress as well as the long-term related outcome in this population.
