TikTok videos posted by self-proclaimed small business owners advertise discreet shipping practices that evade age verification in order to sell nicotine and cannabis bundles worldwide. Accounts used phrases describing the post to be "fake" to avoid detection by algorithms or TikTok administrators. E-cigarette regulatory agencies can partner with social media platforms to close regulatory gaps.
