Bilateral uterine artery coagulation in laparoscopic hysterectomy for benign disease in uteri more than 1000 g.

When performing laparoscopic hysterectomy of uteri weighing over 1000 g, the occlusion of the bilateral uterine arteries at the point of exit from the internal iliac arteries using bipolar coagulation at the beginning of the operation reduces intraoperative hemorrhage and hemoglobin decrease.
