A Longitudinal Study of Adherence among Cystic Fibrosis Patients: Associations with Gratitude Over the Course of One Year.

This is among the first demonstrations that gratitude is associated with persistent self-reported adherence to treatment over time. Findings suggest that gratitude may be important psychosocial resource for adults with CF, as they contend with complex, highly burdensome treatment regimens. Further research is warranted to examine these relationships and their impact on downstream health outcomes.
