Chitosan-triclosan particles modulate inflammatory signaling in gingival fibroblasts.

Our results show that chitosan-triclosan particles are able to modulate the inflammatory response in gingival fibroblasts. This effect might be useful in the prevention and/or treatment of inflammation in periodontal diseases.
