Association of Lower Age and Cardiorespiratory Events during Intra-Arterial Chemotherapy for Retinoblastoma: A Prospective Observational Study.

In children undergoing intra-arterial chemotherapy for retinoblastoma treatment, cardiorespiratory events were observed in 12.5% of procedures. Lower age was associated with this complication. Although predominantly mild, these events should have prompt diagnosis and treatment to prevent further deterioration and worse outcomes.
