Comfort Level and Barriers to the Appropriate Use of Clozapine: a Preliminary Survey of US Psychiatric Residents.

Forty-one percent of the respondents did not feel comfortable with clozapine prescription. Major concerns cited included the side effect profile as well as lack of experience and training. The majority of the respondents felt that they would be more comfortable prescribing clozapine if they had the opportunity to train in a clozapine clinic.
