The development of a novel Wellness Assessment Instrument and its use in the assessment of wellness status in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

The findings suggest that a combination of personal, physical, emotional, mental and other psychological factors is responsible for negative COPD outcomes. While there is a need to validate this new wellness questionnaire in further research, it incorporates new markers of wellness that could benefit management of COPD.
