Efficacious CM-DBS for LGS is linked to stimulation of the parvocellular CM and the adjacent ventral lateral nucleus, and is associated with connectivity to, and thus likely modulation of, the "secondary epileptic network" underlying the shared electroclinical manifestations of LGS.
