Our results show that diffusion MRI can deliver valuable, robust, clinically meaningful and easily obtainable/accessible/available parameters in the assessment of prognosis and progression of metachromatic leukodystrophy. Therefore, it provides additional quantifiable information to established methods such as T2 hyperintensity.
