A promising Mo-based lithium-rich phase for Li-ion batteries.

Herein, we demonstrate a composite Mo-based lithium-rich Li 2 MoO 4 ·LiNi 0.4 Mn 0.4 Co 0.2 O 2 material, which exhibits a higher practical capacity of 270 mA h g -1 , and better capacity retention (61% after 50 cycles) when compared with the well-known Li 2 MnO 3 .
