The ISMRM study group on magnetic resonance spectroscopy has produced recommendations for reporting methods. The Journal of Neurochemistry has decided to encourage the use of the checklist for these standards by authors and reviewers in order to improve reproducibility and reliability of the science, make it easier for reviewers and to help educate the scientific community.
