Functional characteristics of Dicer genes in Plutella xylostella.

These findings demonstrate the involvement of PxDcr-1 in the development and reproduction of P. xylostella, specifically in the formation of ovarioles and eggs, and PxDcr-2 is indispensable for RNAi.
