Herein, we firstly utilized H 2 @C 60 to monitor the supramolecular interaction between a pH-driven resorcin[4]arene molecular tweezer and C 60 with a notable 1 H NMR chemical shift change ( ca. 0.34 ppm). This work provides a new strategy for detecting weak or complex supramolecular interactions.
