Patient-related factors associated with oral anticoagulation control: a population-based cohort study.

Anticoagulation control with warfarin is suboptimal in routine care in New Zealand. Age, ethnicity and deprivation index were significant predictors of TTR. It is important to ensure equitable access to appropriate, high-quality care for those living in deprived areas and those from ethnic minority groups.
