DTPs are common in the general surgery ward. Clinical pharmacists can provide medication reviews for surgical patients to identify DTPs and rate their severities. Detecting risk factors for DTPs and the most common drug classes associated with them can assist in decision-making relevant to reducing DTPs in the surgical ward.
