Experiences of physical activity and exercise among women with obstructive pulmonary disease.

The women's wishes to be physically activity and exercise involved hindering and enabling factors. Specifically, their gender roles as women were described as a hinder. This suggests a need to include a gender perspective when promoting physical activity and exercise to women with obstructive pulmonary disease.
