RVMFS of -15.8% may be a useful cutoff value to categorize the refractory and non-refractory stages of disease. Sustained serum hs-cTNT elevation post-BPA indicates subclinical RV myocardial injury, with resultant RVMFS deterioration and poor exercise tolerance.
