Spending at least 20 minutes during the first ANC contact and home visits were positively associated with eight or more ANC contacts. We recommend that skilled health professionals should spend at least 20 minutes during the first ANC contact as well as encourage home visits in order to increase the coverage of eight or more ANC contacts.
