We explore an uncommon ultrasonic reduction method to exsolute Ag from perovskite La 0.87 Ag 0.03 FeO 3- δ , forming a composite with enhanced catalytic oxidation activity. Such a mild exsolution is based on the coupling effect of ultrasonic cavitation and reducible BH 4 - , and holds great potential in the fields of energy and environment catalysis.
