#ReadyToPlay: health problems in women's football-a two-season prospective cohort study in the Norwegian premier league.

One in five players had a health problem negatively affecting their training volume or performance at any time. Sudden-onset injuries represented the most burdensome health problem. Thigh injuries were most frequent, while knee injuries, ACL injuries especially, were most severe.
