Collectively, our study demonstrated the crucial role of endothelial Raptor in promoting ischaemia-induced arteriogenesis in T2DM by mediating VEGFR2 signalling. Thus, endothelial Raptor is a novel therapeutic target for promoting arteriogenesis and ameliorating perfusion in T2DM.
