We proposed a risk assessment model including factors not previously considered in the literature: the standardization of the surgical technique, the surgeon's experience, the best MI approach (laparoscopy or robot-assisted), and previous abdominal surgery are crucial tools to consider. Further prospective studies with a larger population sample are needed to validate these preliminary evaluations for patients undergoing MI hysterectomy.
