Insomnia and Migraine: A Review of Evidence-Based, Biobehavioral Interventions.

Multiple studies support CBT-I as a validated modality for the treatment of insomnia in migraine. CBT-I is used to treat insomnia and should be offered as first line therapy. Clinicians should screen for insomnia in all patients with headache, especially in those with migraine, to best manage this condition through the implementation of specific insomnia treatment.
