Our results support earlier findings that invertebrates are the aye-aye's main resource and corroborate that aye-ayes violate assumptions of the Jarman/Bell model and Kay's threshold. We suggest that the Jarman/Bell principle and Kay's threshold be used as supporting evidence and not to repudiate findings that do not conform to these guidelines.
