Plasma thrombin-activatable fibrinolysis inhibitor (TAFI) antigen levels in acromegaly patients in remission

A significant alteration in the plasma TAFI antigen levels was detected in acromegaly. Increased plasma TAFI antigen levels might aggravate prothrombotic and thrombotic events in patients with acromegaly.
