Molecular monitoring of MDS: Watch this space!

The use of IPSS-M provides a wealth of molecular information in newly diagnosed myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) patients. Besides the prognostic implications, molecular markers will also help to choose therapeutic options and may also be informative to determine the depth of response.
