Intentional passive eruption combined with scaling and root planing of teeth with moderate chronic periodontitis and traumatic occlusion.

Within the limits of this study, performing initial periodontal therapy combined with IPE using occlusal reduction was shown to be very simple and effective. Moreover, IPE would be helpful in improving periodontal parameters.
