Health and safety concerns of female asylum seekers living in an informal migrant camp in Matamoros, Mexico.

One member of the research team has extensive experience as an advocate for recently immigrated women experiencing intimate partner violence. The study procedures were reviewed with advocates providing direct services to migrant women and children.
