Factors Affecting Cost of Patients with Severe Community-Acquired Pneumonia in Intensive Care Unit.

The presence of certain comorbidities and high disease severity in patients with severe CAP hospitalized in ICU increase the cost of inpatient treatment. The need for mechanical ventilation during treatment and the presence of sepsis/septic shock are additional factors that increase the cost.
