The Impact of Antithrombotic Medications on Postoperative Bleeding Events Following Hemorrhoidectomy.

Patients on AT have an elevated risk of PBE compared to patients not on AT. No significant difference was found between the two groups when considering only those PBE's severe enough to require hospital admission or repeat procedure. Further research is required to establish clear guidelines regarding the perioperative management of AT for hemorrhoid procedures.
