Hypometabolism in mesial temporal lobe areas together with hypometabolism in insulae and medial inferior frontal-hypothalamus may be characteristic of patients with epilepsy and GAD-ab. This PET pattern could be a useful diagnostic tool to identify GAD-Ab patients.
