A multicomponent covalent organic framework (COF-Tfp-BpyDaaq) integrating bipyridine with diaminoanthraquinone through a triformylphoroglucinol linkage was synthesized for the first time as a photocatalyst for overall H 2 O 2 photosynthesis. It exhibits enhanced photo-charge separation and H 2 O 2 production rate over its two-component counterparts, demonstrating the pivotal role of multicomponent synthesis in designing efficient photocatalysts.
