Graduate neurology trainees reassuringly perform well in initial management of acute ischemic stroke, but frequently make errors in the treatment of hemorrhagic transformation after thrombolysis, suggesting the need for more education surrounding this low frequency, high-acuity event. High-fidelity simulation holds promise as an assessment tool for acute stroke management performance.
