Q-switched Nd:YAG 1064nm (QS Nd:YAG) laser has been established as an effective treatment modality for tattoo removal. A greater number of individuals are getting inked and proportionately the number of individuals undergoing laser tattoo removal has also risen. Like all therapeutic modalities, QS Nd:YAG lasers are also not devoid of adverse effects and with the rise in this cosmetic procedure an increased number of adverse events are being encountered.
