Mid-term results of autologous matrix-induced chondrogenesis for large chondral defects in hips with femoroacetabular impingement syndrome.

Based on the reported mid-term results, we consider AMIC as an encouraging treatment option for large cartilage lesions of the hip. Nonetheless, the clinical evidence of AMIC in FAI patients remains to be determined, ideally in the context of randomized controlled trials.
