Positive associations shown between subclinical atherosclerosis and cognitive function. Subclinical atherosclerosis markers of plaque numbers were significantly associated with global cognitive functioning in MoCA, memory and semantic fluency, while ba-PWV was significantly associated with global cognitive functioning in MoCA and semantic fluency.
