In this study, we showed that cognitive impairment and malnutrition are not directly linked but are both independently associated with greater functional disability and worse quality of life of patients with systemic sclerosis. Early recognition of these comorbidities is therefore pivotal to better address the chronic needs of patients affected by this disease.
