The AI-based asymmetry evaluation system was useful as an aesthetic outcome measure in mandibular reconstruction. Simple TMJ reconstruction with a fibular end seemed to be a promising option, as there were no significant differences in both aesthetic and functional outcomes between this method and those cases in which the native condyle was preserved.
