The translation and cultural adaptation of the Faroese QPC-IP proved satisfactory. The psychometric evaluation affirmed a shared understanding of the quality of psychiatric care in both Faroese and Swedish cultural contexts. As a result, the Faroese QPC-IP emerges as a valuable instrument for assessing the quality of psychiatric care in the Faroe Islands. Its utility extends to quality assurance initiatives and contributes to cross-cultural research examining the quality of psychiatric care from the patient's perspective.
