Hematologic and biochemical markers of inflammation increase with increased body mass in healthy adolescents. Hematologic and biochemical markers of inflammation are positively related independent of body mass in healthy adolescents. Hematologic inflammatory markers are not related to markers of cardiometabolic risk in healthy adolescents.
