Development of a Novel, Reusable Task Trainer for Foreign Body Removal and Abscess Incision and Drainage.

This study demonstrates the feasibility of constructing a practical, low-cost, non-animal-based task trainer for the purpose of training incision and drainage of cutaneous abscesses and removal of cutaneous foreign bodies. This novel task trainer allows for ultrasound skill development and provides realistic imaging experience.
