Telenursing can effectively supplement healthcare professionals to manage PWT2D. Increasing patients' knowledge about their drugs, insulin administration, and diabetes complications improves self-care behaviors and medical adherence. Consistently, improved self-care and regular use of treatment result in improved metabolic indicators and decreased rate of complications, which is associated with a better quality of life.
