Evidence linking the association of periodontal viruses and pentraxins in periodontitis patients with coronary artery disease.

The results of the current study suggests that the clinical severity of periodontitis (CAL), etiology of periodontitis (EBV & CMV) and inflammatory marker of periodontitis (Pentraxin-3) were found to be significantly elevated in CAD.
