Elevated insulin-like growth factor-1 in Cushing's disease.

Patients with untreated Cushing's disease may have elevated IGF-1, which decreases following remission. Mildly elevated IGF-1 in Cushing's disease does not imply pathological growth hormone (GH) excess.
