The maximum angle ankle pump exercise mode can reduce the incidence of catheter-related thrombosis and unplanned catheter removal in patients with lung cancer with PICC catheterization through femoral vein, increase catheter retention time, but it can easily cause patient fatigue. In clinical practice, patient tolerance should be considered.
