5-Hydroxymethylfurfural and Furfural Chemistry Toward Biobased Surfactants.

Invited for this month's cover is the group of Yves Queneau at the University of Lyon. The cover image shows superb natural architectures with spherical symmetrical shapes evoking that of organized systems, micelles, and bubbles symbolizing creativity and imagination in the molecular design of biobased surfactants.
