Overall, treatment of stroke patients was sub-optimal and almost half of the patients had poor treatment outcomes. Availing of thrombolytic therapy, devising appropriate preventive measures of risk factors (hypertension), and decreasing preventable complication such as aspiration pneumonia could improve patient outcomes.
