Trace acetamiprid may cause reproductive dysfunction in silkworms through regulating the metabolism of endogenous hormones. Our study provides a reference for elucidating the mechanism of acetamiprid-induced reproductive disorders in insects. © 2019 Society of Chemical Industry.
